Brown Basmati Rice ⠀
⠀
Heat 1 tablespon of olive oil in a pan and add 1 cup of rinsed brown basmati rice. Add a bit of salt and add 2 cups of boiled water. Let the whole thing boil for 10 minutes then cover and simmer for 30 minutes. ⠀

Lentils ⠀
⠀
- 2 tablespoons olive oil ⠀
- 1 medium sliced onion⠀
- 2 cloves of crushed garlic ⠀
⠀
heat for 5 minutes on medium heat, then add⠀
⠀
- 160 grams chopped carrots ⠀
- 200 grams raw peas⠀
- 175 grams chopped zucchini ⠀
⠀
heat for another few minutes, then add ⠀
⠀
- 310 grams lentils
- Spices: 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp chilli ⠀
- 3 cups of stock ⠀
⠀
Allow to boil then take it down to a simmer and cover for one hour or until the lentils are tender. ⠀
